I’m currently on vacation, but not on vacation from cosplaying. While on vacation, I’m hitting the thrift stores in search of new items that can be transformed into accessories for cosplays. For example, why pay $30-$40 for a pair of heels in the shoe store when I can get a slightly used pair of heels from the thrift store for $3-$4? For the new cosplayers who have little to no sewing skills, or the more experienced cosplayers or even the ones who just want to save some money on costuming, to spend in the dealers room. The thrift store is the way to go, or even Salvation Army or Goodwill. In January, I found a straw hat & pair of denim shorts for a total of $3 for my brother for his Time-Skip Luffy costume.
